LaFayette, GA – Due to scheduling conflicts, Walker County Sole Commissioner Shannon Whitfield’s two regular scheduled meetings in April have been cancelled. Commissioner Whitfield traditionally holds meetings on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 6 p.m.
A special called meeting will take place on Thursday, April 19th to cover any county business that needs to be addressed. The special called meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Commissioner’s Office, located at 101 S Duke Street in LaFayette. Once finalized, an agenda packet for the April 19th meeting will be posted online.
