LITTER CONTROL OFFICER (opened 3/27/19)
The Litter Control Officer is responsible for supervising inmates assigned to picking up trash, tires, furniture, and all types of litter left on county roadsides or illegally dumped. This position also ensures safe working conditions for the inmates.


LEGAL & PUBLIC POLICY INTERN (opened 3/1/19)
Learn the mechanics of local government and practical relationships between Constitutional Officers in Georgia County Government and get paid doing it.  Duties of this internship will be similar to the administrative practices of a small law firm.  Applicant must be an undergraduate student, graduate student or recent college graduate. High school students and recent high school graduates who have not yet started college are not eligible for this position.


FIREFIGHTER:
Walker County Emergency Services (WCES) is currently accepting applications for the position of Firefighter. Applications will be received until positions have been filled.
