Weapons Carry Permits applications must be done online for new and renewal permits. When you apply for a weapons permit, please make note of your confirmation number. You will need this to complete your booking appointment. Visit the Georgia Probate Records site to begin your application.
After you have applied for your weapons permit on the Georgia Probate Records site, you can visit Probate Court in the Walker County Courthouse to complete the process.
New weapons carry permits are $82.00 cash only and renewals are $40.00 cash only. Our office does provide change if needed.
