Robert Stultz took office as Walker County’s first District 4 Commissioner on January 1, 2021. District 4 is the largest geographic district in the county. It includes Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga Valley, Kensington, Center Post and West Brow.
He is a lifelong resident of Walker County and the third son of Don Stultz Sr. and Annelle Robinson Stultz. He is married to Rachel Stultz, a nurse executive with Louisiana Healthcare. Together, the couple operates Caribou Run Farm in south Walker County.
Stultz has served Walker County in the past as a Deputy Coroner, Assistant Medical Director to the Walker County Jail and as an Emergency Services Provider. He is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant and has practiced Primary Care Medicine in Northwest Georgia since 1995. He is a graduate of LaFayette High School, Georgia Medical Institute, Dalton School of Health Occupations and holds an undergraduate degree from Trevecca University, a post Baccalaureate degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and a Masters of Medicine from the University of Nebraska.
He was co-owner of Rossville Medical Center for 20 years and owner of Southern Correctional Services LLC.
Stultz is a member of Trout Unlimited, Ducks Unlimited, Gordon Pond Club and the National WWII Museum. Currently, he serves on the Walker County Board of Health and attends New Harvest Baptist Church.
He is honored to have been elected to the newly formed Walker County Board of Commissioners District 4. It is his goal to work hard for all of Walker County, provide transparency and be a good steward of the taxpayer funds.
