Juvenile Court Turns to Video Conferencing for Hearings During COVID-19

LaFayette, GA – During this public health state of emergency, the Juvenile Courts of Walker, Dade and Chattooga Counties have turned to video conferencing in an effort to address pre-adjudication and post-adjudication hearings?

Judge Steven Ellis and court staff meet with attorneys and other participants via Zoom on cases where there are safety concerns, detention hearings in delinquency actions, and preliminary protective custody hearings, among other proceedings.
