LaFayette, GA – Walker County Chairwoman Angie Teems will hold four town hall style gatherings this spring to meet with residents. The open forums are designed to hear from the community about the issues important to them and how the county can be part of enhancing their quality of life.
Each town hall will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will take place on the following dates and locations:
- Tuesday, May 12 – County Administration Building (101 S Duke Street, LaFayette)
- Tuesday, June 9 – Walker County Civic Center (10052 Highway 27, Rock Spring)
- Tuesday, June 16 – Rossville Senior Center (101 Bryan Street, Rossville)
- Tuesday, June 23 – Lookout Mountain Town Hall (1214 Lula Lake Rd, Lookout Mountain)
Teems will open each forum with a brief overview of her first 17 months in office and then turn it over to those in attendance to ask questions and provide feedback. A rotating panel of county department heads and officials will be in attendance to help answer questions about county operations, special projects and strategic planning for the future.
