Gene Wilson took office as Walker County’s second District 4 Commissioner on January 1, 2025. District 4 is the largest geographic district in the county. It includes Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga Valley, Kensington, Center Post and West Brow.
Wilson is a project manager at Adman Electric and has nearly 30 years of experience as an electrician. He and and his wife Jennifer have three daughters.
Wilson gives freely of his time to various youth related athletic organizations. He has served as a Georgia High School Association offical for basketball, softball and baseball and has volunteered with the Chattanooga Valley Youth Association, Rock Spring Youth Association, Rossville Youth Association and Chickamauga Youth Association, as well.
