On the June 9, 2020, voters approved a new 6 year SPLOST that began October 1, 2020 and will conclude on September 30, 2026

2024 TSPLOST:
In November of 2024, voters approved a new TSPLOST that began on April 1, 2024 and will sunset on March 31, 2029. The 2024 TSPLOST is estimate to generate about $9 million a year for paving and transportation projects.

• Walker County is estimated to receive 75% or approximately $6.75 million annually
• LaFayette is estimated to receive 11.50% or approximately $1,035,000 million annually
• Rossville is estimated to receive 6.14% or approximately $552,600 annually
• Chickamauga is estimated to receive 4.46% or approximately $401,400 annually
• Lookout Mountain is estimated to receive 2.50% or approximately $225,000 annually
• Fort Oglethorpe is estimated to receive 0.40% or approximately $36,000 annually
