A variation of the standard game of golf is disc golf. Disc golf is similar to golf in that the disc is thrown from a tee area with the objective of hitting a target, usually an elevated metal basket.
Mountain Cove Farms maintains an 18-hole disc golf course, which can be played for only $5. The course, which is sanctioned by the Disc Golf Association, is 100 acres and 8,000 total feet. Participants must either provide their own discs or purchase them from the on-site store.
