If you need assistance with a sick or injured domestic animal, the following are options for emergency care:

- VCA Regional Institute for Vet Emergencies Center (423-698-4612)
Rehome by Adopt-a-Pet
Walker County is now a Rehome by Adopt-a-Pet partner!
The Rehome program aims to reduce the number of unwanted animals entering the Walker County Animal Shelter by providing the residents with the opportunity to have their pet listed on all of the major platforms used by shelters to find a potential adopter. This connect owners of pets they are trying to rehome directly with another loving family.
