The question of how much distance there should be between a church and a restaurant that serves alcohol will be decided by Walker County voters in May.
Prior to the Regular Meeting, a Public Hearing was held on a proposed amendment to the County's Alcohol Ordinance. The amendment would make Walker County more business friendly by removing a distance requirement that goes beyond state requirements. Another Public Hearing was held on several zoning requests.
